Anne Killick B.Vet.Med.M.R.C.V.S.
I qualified from the Royal Veterinary
College , London in April 1982 . I initially worked in a mixed but
predominantly small animal equine practice in Stoke on Trent.
In October
1985 I moved to join Margaret Wharmby's practice at Park Hall Stables ,
Mansfield Woodhouse . Here I worked with both small animals & horses .I
remained here until I decided to set up my own practice at Meadowbank
which I opened in January 1994 .
My clinical interests are in small animal
medicine including rabbits . I come from a dairy farming background &
have always had a keen interest in horses . It is only since starting my
own practice that I have not had enough time to have a horse of my own.
Nowadays I have taken to riding a mountain bike (this takes less looking
after than a horse) & tend to combine this sport with traveling to
exciting new destinations every year. |

Sarah Scott - Student Veterinary Nurse
I had been a human nurse
for 20 years when, in March 2008, I was made redundant. This has given me
the opportunity to move into animal nursing which is something I have wanted
to do for a long time. I am hoping to enrol this summer (2009) and start my
actual training as a veterinary nurse this autumn.
I am married and we have
a set of twins. The other baby in my life is Cassie my border collie dog.

I have recently joined the
team, at Meadowbank Vets and have dual roles, one being Accounts Manager
where my main responsibilities are the day to day accounts and book keeping
of the practice. I have over nine years experience within this field,

Animals have always been a
love of mine and to be working within a Veterinary practice as an Assistant

I have a young son and one

quite busy.

Assistant Principal
- Bilii
Billii - is how my name is
pronounced. It is Urdu in origin and means "cat" - really I should be called
"Billa" because I am a boy but I have got used to my name now.
I have worked for
Meadowbank Vets since I was a kitten. I spend my time supervising the staff
at work. I use my own initiative when re- organising displays or neatly
folded paperwork on the desk. My computer skills are excellent - although I
am unsure where the words from the screen saver go to when they move off the
side of the screen? In my spare time I carry out handy work duties such as
fixing leaky taps.
